Culture and sights
Parndorf Parish Church: The Roman Catholic church is dedicated to St. Ladislaus and is considered a medieval parish; a church dedicated to St. Benedict is mentioned in 1430.
To the east of the church stands the burial chapel of the Harrach count's family, dedicated to St. Cross from the first half of the 19th century.
On the road to Bruckneudorf, already outside the village area, there is a plague chapel from the 1st half of the 18th century, the time when the last plague epidemics were rampant in Europe. In 1713 Parndorf was hit by epidemics like the plague for the last time. The chapel is dedicated to St. Roch.
The castle of Parndorf was located in the south of the village. Its location is now only documented by historical maps, and the building was demolished in 1979.
In summer there is the Theater Sommer Parndorf on the church square, which has been directed by Christian Spatzek since 2012. It opens with "The Talisman" by Johann Nestroy.
