Jois is a market town in the district of Neusiedl am See in Burgenland, Austria. The municipality is located in northern Burgenland. Jois is situated at 130 m above sea level on the slopes of the Leithagebirge directly on Lake Neusiedl in the Austrian Burgenland. Parts of the municipality belong to the Lake Neusiedl - Leithagebirge Nature Park.

Sports
Apart from the usual leisure activities, shooting sports are of great importance in Jois. A shooting house with a terrace offers spectators a place to watch clay pigeon, trap and hunting parcour shooting. Lake Neusiedl is not only ideal in summer for practicing various sports such as swimming, sailing, kite surfing and windsurfing, but also invites in winter for ice skating, ice sailing, ice surfing. On the premises of the Jois (yacht) harbor three sailing clubs - the Yachtclub Seewind, the Yachtclub Jois and the "Österreichische Heeresyachtclub" - operate their own club facilities.
