Niederndorf is a municipality in the judicial district and district of Kufstein, Tyrol (Austria).

Culture and sights

    In the baroqueized village church (originally 1376) are two carved figures of St. Catherine and St. Margaret, around 1460.
    The late Gothic Margarethenkapelle (St. Margaret's Chapel) in the cemetery shows painting remains from the 16th century and modern frescoes on the north wall from 1962.
    The Gradl Inn next to the church has frescoes from the 18th century.

Regular events

    Every year on December 29, the Thomas Night takes place in the village center of Niederndorf. At this village festival with mulled wine serenades and bars, the old year is driven out two days before New Year's Eve.
    Every three years a big carnival procession takes place on carnival Saturday from 14:14 in the village center.
