Ebbs is a municipality with 5772 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2022) in the judicial district and district of Kufstein, Tyrol (Austria).Ebbs is located in the Lower Inn Valley near Kufstein, east of the Inn River at the foot of the Zahmen Kaiser and is one of the largest municipalities in the district of Kufstein with about 5500 inhabitants.

Culture and sights

    Today's parish church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary is a richly decorated baroque church (called "Dom zu Ebbs"). 
    Also worth seeing is the "Antoniuskapelle" in the Kaisertal, which is visited by up to 2000 visitors during the annual mass.
    Together with the Wilder Kaiser, the Zahme Kaiser forms the Kaisergebirge nature reserve.
    A special attraction of Ebbs is the "Fohlenhof", the world's largest stud farm for Haflinger horses - with an accompanying museum.
    In a nearby forest is the Raritätenzoo Ebbs with more than 70 different animal species.
    In the Kaisertal, which like the Zahme Kaiser is largely Ebbs territory, there have also been numerous finds of cave bear bones, from bears that lived in the Tischofer cave. These finds can be viewed today in the Kufstein Fortress.
