Langenwang is a market town in the judicial district of Mürzzuschlag and in the political district of Bruck-Mürzzuschlag in Styria. Langenwang is located in the northeast of the Austrian province of Styria. The highest point is the Amundsenhöhe (1666 m), named after the polar explorer Roald Amundsen, in the southeast of the municipal area.

    Hohenwang Castle Ruin: The ruin is located on a steep rocky hill sloping almost vertically to the southwest.

    The church of St. Andreas is the oldest building in Langenwang. The basic shape of the church tower dates from the Romanesque building period of the 13th century and the early Gothic choir from the 14th century.
