Hollersbach im Pinzgau is an Austrian village in the district of Zell am See (Pinzgau), Salzburger Land. It is located in the region Oberpinzgau, about 4.5 km from its main town Mittersill, as well as 32 km from the district capital Zell am See and belongs with the southern part of the Hollersbachtal to the National Park communities Hohe Tauern. The center of Hollersbach is located at an altitude of 806 meters above sea level at the entrance to the Hollersbach Valley, on the right - southern, shady - bank of the Salzach River.

Culture and sights

The catholic parish church of St. Vitus, built in 1892, is furnished with neo-Romanesque furnishings. The slender tower has a pointed helmet and was not completed until 1900. Four bells of the bell foundry Hamm & Hartner from Grödig near Salzburg ring in the church tower.

Klausnerhaus: documented since 1350. The Klausnerhaus is a typical Pinzgau farmhouse with a quarry stone wall and wooden upper floor and attic. Currently, the Klausnerhaus houses the ORF National Park Studio, an information center of the National Park as well as a seminar center and an exhibition of medicinal herbs - the healing knowledge of the Pinzgau women was declared an intangible UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010.

Panoramabahn: In 2004/05 a feeder gondola to the ski area of Bergbahn AG Kitzbühel at Pass Thurn was built in Hollersbach.

Kunsthalle Kramerstall: The Kunsthalle Kramerstall is located in the center of Hollersbach and serves the Hollersbach Cultural Association as a home for the International Hollersbach Painting Weeks. There are 3 studios of various sizes in this object, which can be rented during the year as rental studios by interested artists.
