The village is a typical Angerdorf (longitudinal village with garden plots in the building block), but there are already some new settlements on the outskirts of the village. South of the village center flows the Purzelkamp, one of the tributaries to the Kamp River, in a westerly direction. 

 

The cross-country ski trail is groomed when the snow conditions are suitable

The Purzelkamp cross-country skiing trail 

is prepared when snow conditions are good. Length of the track is about 12km.

Starting points: at the Pfarrhofgarten Grafenschlag 

                Grafenschlag at the train station (sausage stand)

                Kleingöttfritz Güterweg in the direction of Langschlag

There is the possibility to borrow cross-country skis and boots at the GH Bauer (reservation Tel: 02875 8266).
