Culture and sights
Birthplace of Anton Bruckner: Ansfelden is not only known to lovers of classical music because of the birthplace of the composer Anton Bruckner. He was born on September 4, 1824 and grew up in Ansfelden.
Anton Bruckner Centrum (ABC): In 1996, in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of Anton Bruckner's death, the 'Anton Bruckner Centrum (ABC)' was built in the center of Ansfelden and is used as an event center. In addition to the direct abbreviation of the name, the letters are also intended to symbolize Bruckner's activities as a teacher.
Anton Bruckner Symphony Trail: In honor of the composer, 9 stations have been set up along the 9 km long section of the Jakobsweg (Way of St. James), which leads from the musician's birthplace in the center of town through meadows and forests to the neighboring community of Sankt Florian near Linz - one of his places of activity as an organist and his burial place.

On this occasion, a local recreation area was created along the Krems River, which will remain for the population of the city and the region even after the State Garden Show.
