Andelsbuch is a municipality in the Austrian state of Vorarlberg. Andelsbuch is located in the westernmost province of Austria, Vorarlberg, in the district of Bregenz in the heart of the Bregenzerwald (Mittelbregenzerwald) at an altitude of 613 meters. 36.0% of the area is forested, 16.9% of the area is alpine.There are no other cadastral communities in Andelsbuch.
Culture and sights
The parish church to the Saints Peter and Paul was built by the Baroque master builder Ignaz Beer (1664-1741), son of Michael Beer, in the years 1715-1720.
The neo-Gothic Bezegg-Sul on a hill between Andelsbuch and Bezau from 1871 reminds of the Bregenzerwald peasant republic.
On the village square is a village fountain, also called the village pond.
The Andelsbuch power station, built in 1908, was one of the largest and most modern power stations in the Austro-Hungarian monarchy at the time.
In the Werkraum Bregenzerwald, 80 handicraft businesses display their crafts.

Goat market 2007
Scenically worth seeing are the Alpe Gerach and the Andelsbucher local mountain Niedere. The Niedere is also the starting point for numerous hang gliders and paragliders. On the alp Vordere Niedere there is a chapel since 2008, a simple, modern wooden building by the Bregenz architects Cukrowicz Nachbaur.
