Strengen is a municipality in the district of Landeck in the Austrian state of Tyrol (Austria). It is located in the judicial district of Landeck. The municipality of Strengen is located in the Stanzertal valley on the Rosanna River. In the easternmost point of the municipality the Trisanna flows into the Rosanna, together they flow as Sanna into the Inn.

    A special feature in the Stanzertal valley were several of the last "bell forges" in Tyrol, where cowbells were formed by hand. Their sound was said to be different from machine-made ones. The last two businesses in the village ceased operations a few years ago. The now only active master jinglesmith in Austria works in Pettneu am Arlberg.
