Walter Scherl, now the only active master jingle smith in Austria, works in Pettneu in a smithy that has been in the family since 1736 and specialized in the production of jingles after the Second World War. Today, the house "Schellenschmied" in Schnann 80 is mainly used to accommodate guests.
