The municipality Hauskirchen with its cadastral communities Hauskirchen, Prinzendorf and Rannersdorf is located in the northeastern Weinviertel about 19 km from Mistelbach with a size of 22.09 km² - 50 ha of which are vineyards. There are 1,221 citizens with main residence and 352 with secondary residence living here. In 2000, on the occasion of the 850th anniversary of Hauskirchen, the coat of arms of the municipality was awarded.
The village gallery Hauskirchen-Prinzendorf-Rannersdorf is located at the Zayabrücke in Hauskirchen. Here permanent exhibitions of local artists with periodically and thematically changing objects take place.
Furthermore, the Nordic Walking Wander Schaukel was built, with the Nordic Walking Fitmarsch traditionally taking place on October 26. New are training sessions with GYMSTICK - a new trend in the Nordic Walking sport. The wine trail in Hauskirchen is located just outside the village in the direction of Althöflein. The different types of wine are described in detail on information boards. The educational trail is freely accessible and can be visited at any time. The cycle path Eurovelo 9 leads through our municipal area.
For kindergarten or school children an excursion to the Erdäpfelmuseum Prinzendorf (potatoes are harvested, washed, peeled etc. and at the end there is a barbecue) is a good idea.
