Lesachtal (slow. Lesna dolina) is a municipality in Carinthia. It includes the villages of Liesing, Maria Luggau, Birnbaum and St. Lorenzen the western two-thirds of the Carinthian Lesachtal between the Tyrolean border and Kötschach-Mauthen.

The eastern part of the valley with the village of St. Jakob belongs to the municipality of Kötschach-Mauthen. Both municipalities are located in the political district of Hermagor in the Austrian province of Carinthia.
