Nestled in extensive vineyards, Deutschkreutz lies in the heart of Blaufränkischland. The outstanding quality of the thriving vines offer the visitor delicious treats. The wines, which have won many awards, can be tasted at the local winegrowers and at the regional wine shop, which offers a total of over 250 tastings. The mineral water from the local Rudolfsquelle (Juvina) goes perfectly with every wine tasting. In the attached Vinatrium is the culture hall, where various events take place throughout the year. Other cultural highlights are the Deutschkreutz Castle, the Anton Lehmden Church and the Goldmark Museum.
The academic painter inhabits the castle, built in 1625, and offers visitors a guided exhibition of paintings. The artist also designed the north facade as well as the interior of the Deutschkreutz parish church. Concerts are also held here several times a year.
In addition to wine and culture, Deutschkreutz offers several opportunities to engage in sports. Running and Nordic walking trails, horseback riding, tennis, quad and Segway tours or a visit to the swimming pool invite you to exercise during the day.
