Vent [?f?nt] is a mountain village and a fraction (locality) of the municipality of Sölden in Tyrol. The village is situated on the Venter Ache river at an altitude of 1895 meters at the end of the Venter valley, which forks in Vent into the Rofental and Niedertal valleys. The village formed an independent rural community until the middle of the 19th century, but as a locality it has belonged to the municipality of Sölden in the Ötztal since 1854. Vent has held the title of mountaineering village of the ÖAV since 2008.
