Staatz is a former township and current market town with 1902 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2022) in the district of Mistelbach in Lower Austria.Staatz is located in the Weinviertel region of Lower Austria.

Culture and sights

    Staatzer Klippe: The through-spit cliff made of Jurassic limestone is a remarkable natural monument.
    Staatz castle ruin: The ruin stands on the top of the cliff.
    Felsenbühne Staatz: Since 2000, the Felsenbühne Staatz, located at the foot of the Staatzer Berg, has been the venue for the annual summer festival.

    Loahmgstettn: A cellar village in Ameis, which won the cellar lane competition in 1998 and is therefore one of the most beautiful cellar lanes in the country.
    Dorfwiazhaus: The Ameis village center. The 100-year-old Stadler village inn was revitalized by the people of Ameis after a 30-year slumber. In 2011, the Ameisers received the Golden Trowel, the highest award for building design in Lower Austria, from the province of Lower Austria for their design.
