St. Aegyd am Neuwalde(also spelled Sankt Aegyd am Neuwalde, historically also St. Egyd) is an Austrian market town in the district of Lilienfeld in Lower Austria with 1818 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2022). St. Aegyd am Neuwalde is located in the southernmost Mostviertel region of Lower Austria, on the Styrian border, about 40 kilometers south of St. Pölten.

From the former old forests of the manor grounds at Gscheidl, the Neuwald, only a remnant remains today, called Lahnsattler Urwald.
The Kernhof Camel Theater, founded in 2000, has developed as a crowd puller in the Kernhof cadastral municipality with 35,000 visitors.
The Traisental cycle path leads through St. Aegyd and offers many attractions especially for children.
Another attraction is the fine bakery Herzerl-Mitzi, which baked the world record heart with 31.13 m² in 1989 and thus entered the Guinness Book of Records. St. Aegyd also has much to offer tourists in the way of culinary delights. A hood restaurant Zum Blumentritt in St. Aegyd pleases many culinary interested people.
