The community of Klösterle am Arlberg is located at the end of the Klostertal valley directly at the foot of the Arlberg area and consists of the villages of Stuben, Langen, Klösterle and Danöfen.
It is nestled between the family-friendly Sonnenkopf ski area in the west and the world-famous Arlberg ski arena in the east, which are ideal starting points for adventurous hikes in summer with their lifts. The municipality of Klösterle am Arlberg is therefore a distinct vacation destination that generates most of its added value from the tourism industry.

Klösterle is a municipality with 659 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2022) in the Austrian state of Vorarlberg. The municipality is the main town of the Klostertal and is located in the district of Bludenz.

Culture and sights

Parish Church Klösterle: From 1974 to 1976 a new church was built with architect Clemens Holzmeister. The steeple of the baroque predecessor church from 1609 was preserved.

Expositurkirche Langen am Arlberg: The church, built with architect Hans Feßler (1928-1929), gets its unique effect from the refined treatment of the building structure. The emblematic form rising from the slope is created by the diagonal approach. The corner is developed into the tower, from which the roof extends into the slope in a sweeping movement. The lower components such as walls and steps also emphasize this movement.
