Kittsee is a market town in the district of Neusiedl am See in Burgenland in Austria. Kittsee is the only village in the municipality. It is located directly on the border with Slovakia near Bratislava. The northernmost point of Burgenland is also located in Kittsee. The original municipality was larger and extended to the present territory of Slovakia.
