Culture and sights
Parish Church Jochberg: The baroque church, built from 1750 to 1752 by Kassian Singer, was colorfully painted by Simon Benedikt Faistenberger. For almost 300 years, the Wolfgangsbrunnen (St. Wolfgang's well), which sprang up below the church, was the destination of pilgrims who sought and found healing. This is recorded in writing in a so-called "Miracle Book" from the year 1505 in 99 cases. Why this pilgrimage to the Wolfgangsquelle slowly dried up is not clear. On the initiative of priest Andreas Jakober the association of the friends of the Wolfgangsquelle was founded. Wolfgang's water from a deep borehole can now be touched in the Gothic Wolfgang Chapel in the parish church.
