Heinfels is a municipality with 1003 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2022) in the Tyrolean district of Lienz. The municipality is located in the judicial district of Lienz. Heinfels is located at the confluence of the Drava River with the Villgratenbach River at 1078 m above sea level, and the municipality includes parts of the Pustertal Valley and the lower Villgratental Valley.
