Gries im Sellrain is a municipality with 616 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2022) in the district of Innsbruck-Land in the Austrian state of Tyrol (Austria). The municipality is located in the judicial district of Innsbruck. Gries is located in the middle Sellraintal, a side valley of the Inntal. From Gries branches off the Lüsenstal, the rear part of which belongs to the municipality of St. Sigmund im Sellrain. In addition, the Zirmbach, which comes from St. Sigmund, flows into the Melach in the village center of Gries. The village is located in the Stubai Alps.
