Wildschönau is an Austrian municipality in the judicial district of Rattenberg, district of Kufstein in Tyrol. The municipal area extends over 24 km above Wörgl in the Kitzbühel Alps, called Wildschönau; the area is one of the Tyrolean tourist centers.

The municipality includes, in addition to various hamlets, the four parish villages of Niederau, Oberau, Auffach and Thierbach, the municipal office is in the centrally located village of Oberau.
