Saalfelden is a paradise for all winter sports enthusiasts. But also for winter holiday fun away from the ski slopes: the wide, sunny basin of Saalfelden amidst the magnificent mountain scenery is ideal for an idyllic winter hike, a fun snowshoe hike, romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride, ice skating at the Ritzensee, a visit to the local museum Schloss Ritzen or great shopping in town.
Vacation apartment with 2 bedrooms
Our house is located just 3km outside of Saalfelden, beautifully nestled in the Pinzgau Saalach Valley. The apartment was renovated in spring 2014. . You can expect 2 bright and friendly furnished bedrooms for up to 3 people each with a 39 inch flat screen TV, a completely modernized living room with comfortable leather sofa, beautiful corner bench set, 55 inch SMART TV, Blu-Ray player and electric fireplace, as well as a kitchen with seating area which also invites you to linger together after dinner.
In the bathroom, of course, a hairdryer and a vanity mirror are available. In connection with the living room there is a spacious balcony with seating, which is ideal to end warm summer evenings with a glass of wine or other refreshment.
A whirlpool tub and free WLan are at your disposal for an unclouded vacation pleasure. Parking spaces are available directly at the apartment Popelka free of charge. For an extra charge you can use the sauna area with Finnish sauna, herbal bath, steam bath, Kneipp rondel and foot whirlpool as well as the indoor swimming pool in the nearby Hotel Gasthof Schörhof. The only 50m distance to the nearest ski bus stop to the ski area Leogang/Saalbach-Hinterglemm promise quick fun on the slopes in winter, a connection to the 90km long cross-country skiing network of Saalfelden and Leogang is also in the immediate vicinity. Also in summer, the apartment with its excellent location - the Tauern Cycle Path and various hiking routes run right past it - is a wonderful starting point for numerous excursions.
