Wildalpen is an Austrian municipality in the Styrian judicial district or district Liezen. The population density of the municipality is only 2.3 inhabitants per km², which is one of the lowest in Austria. The village of Wildalpen itself is located at the northern foot of the Hochschwab massif in the Salzatal valley, directly on the Salza river.
