There is a region in Lower Austria, which appears so, as if the good Lord had mixed a cocktail here, which is meant for nothing else but pure recreation: the community of Schönberg am Kamp.
The southern slopes of the Manhartsberg with their typical wine terraces meet here the river landscape of the Kamp and the foothills of the mystical Gföhlerwald. The result is a very special mixture of wine, water and forest in the middle of the nature park.
Schönberg am Kamp is a market town with 1843 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2022) in the Kamptal valley in the district of Krems in Lower Austria.
