Wernberg (Slovenian Vernberk) is a municipality in the district of Villach-Land in Carinthia. Wernberg is located in the Ossiacher Tauern, east of Villach and between Lake Ossiach (in the north), Lake Wörthersee (in the east) and Lake Faak (in the south of the municipality).

In Föderlach there are four tennis courts, an outdoor swimming pool (Wernberger Badesee) and a soccer field. The soccer team of Wernberg is called SV Wernberg. SV Wernberg has over 100 members.
