Hippach is a municipality with 1452 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2022) in the Zillertal valley and belongs to the district of Schwaz in Tyrol (Austria). The municipality is located in the judicial district of Zell am Ziller. Hippach is located in the rear Zillertal, west of the Ziller River. The community consists of the street village on an alluvial cone as well as many hamlets and individual farms on the steep slopes of the densely populated Schwendberg mountain and the Laimacher and Gugglberg mountains to the north.
