Ellmau is a municipality with 2885 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2022) in the district of Kufstein, Tyrol, in Austria. The municipality is located in the judicial district of Kufstein.

The municipality is located in a summer and winter sports area and lives mainly from tourism (about 5000 guest beds).
